Everyone is welcome at the Galleries of Justice Museum. However due to the nature of the building and the caves, there will be some areas that may not be suitable for all. We now have a brand new virtual tour available for wheelchair users which enables you to see areas of the museum that are not fully accessible for wheelchairs. These areas include the Women’s Laundry, Sheriff’s Dungeon and the Night Cell. Please let us know when making your booking if you require the virtual tour or simply ask at reception on arrival and we will be delighted to assist you.
Entrance to the building is via a set of steps. Should you need access via our lift please alert the receptionist who will be happy to help . This can be done by ringing the doorbell for the Iberico tapas bar which is just ten feet right of the main Museum entrance.
We have concessionary rates and should you have the need for a carer they can visit free of charge. Click here to view our admission charges.
We do take advice from various organisations e.g. the RNIB to help us enhance the experience we can offer to you, and we would welcome any further suggestions which may enhance your experience. Please contact 0115 952 0555 with your suggestions.
