Our fantastic actor led tour: A Prisoner’s Tale:
Meet the lost souls of former condemned prisoners Mary Vice and John Fenton, who were tried, convicted and executed on this site as they guide you through the dark passages of this notorious county Gaol! You will be taken on a journey of Nottingham’s horrible history to explore our caves, cells and underground dungeons in this interactive tour. Discover years of local heritage and the darkest, deepest events that once took place here.
This tour is 1 hour long and there will be a guide with you for the duration to answer your questions.

A Prisoner’s Tale Tour is available Monday-Friday 12th-16th December, 10:30am – 3:30pm and every half an hour from 19th-23rd December 10:30am – 3:30pm and everyday from 2nd – 29th January 2012.
Please note: on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th January 2012, the Prisoner Tale Tour will run every hour from 10:30am – 3:30pm and shall resume to every half an hour from Wednesday 25th onwards.
