This Summer the villainous Sheriff is back and he’s in a bad mood. Hear about crime and punishment in the middle ages and how the Sheriff dealt with outlaws.
Robin Hood will also be making special guest appearances to confront the wicked sheriff. Will Robin put an end to his dastardly deeds, or will he end up in the dock?
Plus, see what archaeologists have recently unearthed in the caves under our museum. An ‘oubliette’ was a specially shaped pit designed to be impossible to escape from and the worse kinds of felons were left in them to starve or go mad. You can now view this hideous device deep within our gaol.
