How to find us



By road:  From M1 north. Leave the M1 at junction 26 and follow signs for A610. Once in the city centre, follow the brown and white signs for the Galleries of Justice Museum

From M1 south.  Leave the M1 at junction 24 and follow signs for the A453.  Once in the city centre, follow the brown and white signs for the Galleries of Justice Museum

Public transport:  Nottingham train station and tram stop are within easy walking distance.  Nearest car parks are Broadmarsh car park  and Fletcher Gate car park.


Discounted all day parking!  We offer discounted all day parking rates at Stoney Street (£6.50). Simply ask at reception on arrival and we will give you a car parking ticket that will discount your parking rate for the full day!

A small pay and display car parking area with around 20 spaces is situated almost directly opposite our museum steps on High Pavement. Pay and display charges apply.




Travelling to and from the Galleries of Justice Museum by public transport:• You can plan your journey by car or public transport using Google maps.  Simply enter your postcode and ours, which is NG1 1HN to get directions.
• The nearest train Station is Nottingham Train Station which is 0.8 miles away (a 10-15 minute walk). Taxis are available at the train station.
• The nearest bus stops are on Flecther Gate and George Street as follows:
Green Line 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 from West Bridgford
Orange Line 34, 37 from Derby Road
Turquoise Line 76, 77, 78, 79 from Alfreton Road, Aspley, Strelley
Citylink 1 from Queen’s Drive Park and Ride.Most buses from other areas stop around the Victoria Centre area and customers would walk to the Museum from there.• The nearest tram stop is a 5 minute walk around the corner titled the Lace Market Stop.
• The road outside our museum, High Pavement, is a one way street with drop off and pick up points on the museum steps but with no dropped kerb. There is strictly no parking on the road from 8am – 8pm 7 days a week. Traffic wardens patrol this area on a regular basis. Please use our recommended car parks.
